In Amsterdam unity in the taxi industry is absent. There are a lot of different types of cars and therefore they all look different. In general taxi cabs aren’t recognized immediately.
Other disciplines, for example the police, can be recognized easily by police uniform and police car.
In order to reach unity I have developed a new visible design for the taxi cab. In this way people can see the taxi cab from a distance and therefor immediately recognize a taxi cab on the street. A taxi cab is recognizable by its reflectable yellow map of Amsterdam on the outside of the car. By this new design the taxi distinguishes itself from other cars and public transportation.
