In Amsterdam unity in the taxi industry is absent. There are a lot of different types of cars and they all look different. You don’t recognize immediately a taxi in the street. For example if you are in trouble and you need help, you can recognize the uniform of the police easily.
In order to reach unity I have developed a new visible design for the taxicab. In this way people can see the cab from a distance and thus immediately recognize a cab on the street. A cab is recognizable by its reflectable yellow map of Amsterdam on the outside of the car.
By the new design the taxi distinguishes itself from other cars and public transportation.
